Former Manchester United striker Dimitar Berbatov has revealed. He would not be surprised if Victor Yokeres followed Ruben Amorim to Old Trafford given the striker’s current goal tally.

The Red Devils have scored just nine goals in their first 10 Premier League games this season. The third-fewest in the league, with only Southampton (7) and Crystal Palace (8) having scored fewer. The team currently sits in 13th place with just 12 points.UFABET

Given the performances of strikers like Rasmus Hojlund, who has scored just twice and Joshua Zirkze. Who scored in the opening game of the season against Fulham. But has since disappeared. Berbatov said it would not be surprising if Jokeres is brought in to work with Amorim.

“Victor Jokeres, he’s a player who’s scoring goals consistently.” Berbatov told Sky Sports. “I think there’s a special connection with the coach. So maybe we’ll see him in a United shirt.”

Asked if he would be happy if the deal were to happen. Berbatov said: “Based on what he’s show so far, I think so.”

“The strikers we have at the moment are not producing goals. We are 18th in the league (in terms of goals scored), which is embarrassing for a team like United. So that is an area where I want to improve.”
